There is just a few more weeks until the launch of our new website.  Please make sure your email address is up to date with us as we will be emailing instructions on how to log on/navigate the website. 
There are still a few more things to iron out before is launches and one thing that you can do is-please let us know if you have been a customer in the past, canceled and then signed up again.  (This is different from reinstating an old account).  We need to know if there is any chance of having 2 accounts to avoid 2 deliveries coming to your home or being billed twice.

If you are new to GEO or are thinking of signing up, here are our delivery areas:

Tuesday:

East Toronto, East York, Scarborough, Ajax, Pickering, Markham, Whitby

Wednesday:

Downtown E-Yonge (Danforth, Riverdale, Davisville, etc.), North York E-Yonge

Thursday:

Downtown W-Yonge (Forest Hill, Annex, Queen’s Quay, etc.), North York W-Yonge,

Friday:

West Toronto (Little Italy, Queen West, Junction, etc.), Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville, Woodbridge, Brampton, Vaughan

Deliveries to Condos or Apartments? 

 If you live in an apartment or condo we can usually leave your food with the concierge if you are not home.  If there is no concierge you can give us a key to the front entrance so we can leave it at your suite.  If you do not feel comfortable with this we can try to arrange a time when you are home to receive the delivery.

You may choose a weekly or every 2-week delivery.  Any changes to your order including bin size, substitutions, additional items, or holds should be made by 8am the day before your delivery

Substitutions:  If you need to make more then four substitutions we welcome you to do so.  In addition to the substitution list you can also double up on anything that is already in your bin or choose from other bins.  If an item has an astrix* you may substitute it out, however you can only add it to your bin by removing 2 items.  In case you forget to make your substitutions one week, you can update your account with items you never like receiving and another list if items you like getting.

We always welcome your ideas of what you would like to seen in the bin next week as well as additional items you would like to see us carry.  You can send us your yummy recipes for our website too!

For your convenience you can add any of our additional item products as a standing order.  If you choose to do so with milk you will receive a 5% discount.  Too add standing orders please simply call or e-mail us.

As a reminder, everything we offer at GEO is Certified Organic.  This means that a company has passed the review of an independent certifying agency that does in depth inspections of farming and packaging operations.

Next to this our number one priority is to choose local, while maintaining a great variety from week to week.  If it is available to us and it is from Ontario, you will see it in your bin.  As the winter months come upon us, we will choose the next closest place to get our food (Though you may see lots of Ontario potatoes, onions and cabbage during the winter.)

Makes 8 servings.
3 pounds new potatoes
3 tablespoons unseasoned rice vinegar
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 yellow Pepper sliced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
11/2 teaspoons finely grated lemon peel

 
Bring potatoes to boil in large pot of water. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 17 minutes. Drain; let stand until cool enough to handle, about 20 minutes.

Cut potatoes into 3/4-inch pieces. Place 1 layer of potatoes in large bowl; sprinkle with some of vinegar and salt and pepper. Continue layering potatoes with vinegar, salt, and pepper. Add all remaining ingredients; toss. Season with salt and pepper. DO AHEAD Can be made 8 hours ahead. Cover and chill.
